Dear Primary North Families,
We want to extend a warm welcome to all of our new Winton Woods Primary North families and a welcome back to all of our returning families. Our students have been working hard at learning the Wee Warrior Expectations of being Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Problem Solvers as a part of our Positive Behavior Supports.

School is off to a great start. Here are some ways you can help your child to be successful:
·Get a good night’s sleep of at least 8 hours.
·Read to your child each night and ask them who, what, when, and why questions as you read.
·Check their planner each day.
·Attend school activities, especially conferences.
Dress Code Reminders from the Handbook of Primary North School:
·K – 12: Students must wear solid white, navy or hunter green 2 or 3 button, polo style collared shirts (long or short sleeve), turtle necks—mock or regular style. (No logos) Tops are to be tucked into bottom.
·K – 12: Students must wear solid white, navy or hunter green vests, sweatshirts, sweaters (No logos) or Winton Woods spirit wear sweatshirts (no hoodies or homemade
garments). When wearing an approved vest, sweatshirt, or sweater, an approved polo style collared shirt or turtleneck, mock or regular style, must be worn underneath. No hoods are permitted inside the building.

·K – 12: Students must wear navy blue or khaki traditional or classic fit pants (flat front or pleated), shorts, skirts, skorts, Capri pants, or jumpers (no logos). Bottoms must be secure at the natural waist. All pants, skirts, skorts, and shorts with belt loops must be worn with a belt (K-2 students are exempt). All skirts, skorts, shorts and jumpers must be longer than mid-thigh. Belts must be navy blue, hunter green, white, black or brown in color.
