Dear Primary North Families:
Believe it or not, we are several weeks into the fourth quarter of school. During the last several weeks of school we will be testing and will be taking advantage of every minute that the students are in school. There is not a moment to waste.
During the Spring months, we will continue work on each student’s math and reading goals. At home you can support this process by playing games that support math and read with your child as well as listen to them read. If you do not already have math flash cards, you can always buy or make them to work on math fluency. There are also so many applications on an IPad as well as websites that can make learning fun.
Also, this Spring is the District’s 2nd annual Good C.A.T.C.H. Night at the Reds. This event is planned for Tuesday, May 7 2013. It is a night for the Winton Woods’ communities to come together for a fun night at the Reds Game while supporting our district and communities.
The game is at 7:10 p.m. against the Atlanta Braves. Tickets are on sale at Primary North main office. View Level seats are on sale for $10.00 (regularly $16.00) and Mezzanine Level seats are $15.00 (regularly $25.00). Come on out with other families from Winton Woods and cheer on our hometown Reds and hear our very own Winton Woods Middle School sing our National Anthem.
KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION
Primary North and Primary South are currently accepting Kindergarten Registration for the 2013-14 school beginning March 4, 2013. Registration hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. If you are unsure of which school your child will attend, please call the Enrollment Center at (513) 619-2365. To attend Kindergarten in the Fall of 2013, children must be five (5) years old on or before August 1, 2013 to be eligible. Starting next school year, Kindergarten will be an ALL DAY program in Winton Woods. All kindergarteners will be attending school the same hours as all first and second graders.

Required Documents for Kindergarten Enrollment:
· 3 Proof of Residency
1. One of the following (lease, new home contract, or mortgage statement receipt)
2. PLUS 2 additional items (i.e., energy, water, cable, phone bill)
· Original Birth Certificate of the child
· Any custody/guardianship documents filed with the courts
· Immunizations Records
· Photo ID of parent/guardian enrolling the child
